The Winter BeNA Winter Workshop took place on November 27, 2018 at WZB Berlin. This one-day workshop provided young labor economists the chance to present and discuss their recent research with workshop’s participants and network members.
This year’s keynotes were be given by André Gröger (Assistant Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and Han Ye (Assistant Professor at University of Mannheim). The workshop was accompanied by vivid discussions during the coffee breaks and an informal dinner after the workshop. Please find the programme here.
Cortnie Shupe (DIW Berlin) was awarded with the BeNA Innovative Research Award for the best contributed project to the workshop. Her project investigates the impact of the “Obamacare” on the affordability, access to and utilization of health care using data from the Medical Expenditures Panel Survey (MEPS).
We would like to express our thanks to all participants, the workshop organizers, as well as the WZB for hosting the event.
