CfP: 2nd GEP Labour and Globalisation Workshop “Firms, workers, and inequality”

The Nottingham Centre for Research on Globalisation and Economic Policy (GEP) is organising its second annual workshop in Labour Economics, to be held at the University of Nottingham on 16-17 June 2025. The goal of the workshop is to bring together economists to present and discuss their ongoing research in Labour and to foster interaction between them. There will be a dedicated discussant for each paper. The organising committee invites research submissions on any topic related to labour economics, including (but not limited) to: local labour markets and firms; human capital; gender gaps; migration; labour market impacts of trade shocks; labour market institutions; labour market power; technological change; labour mobility; wage inequality.

Keynote speakers: Benjamin Schoefer (UC Berkeley) and Alexandra Roulet (INSEAD)
