CfP: Text-As-Data Workshop @RWI

RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research and Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf jointly organize the first Studi-BUCH Interdisciplinary Text-As-Data Workshop. The workshop is aimed at researchers from any field who are already investigating or would like to investigate a topic in education research using text data. Given the special format, we invite two types of submissions:

  • If you already use quantitative text analysis methods, please submit a working paper or an extended abstract. Your submission must include your research question, data and methods, and – if available – your key findings.
  • If you are not yet employing quantitative text analysis but have access to textual data that can be used to answer relevant questions in the field of Education, please send a data report of up to two pages describing the dataset(s) and your research questions and ideas.

We do not charge a workshop fee, but participants must pay for their accommodation and travel expenses.
