Attendees can attend three lectures and one research talk, which will provide in-depth insight into Eric’s work. Moreover, attendees can also book office hours with Eric.

The event starts at noon on November 21st with a lunch and a seminar talk on „Skills vs. Signaling: Evidence from Fake Diplomas in Brazil.„ This will be followed by the first part of a three-part lecture series and a dinner. The lecture series continues on Wednesday, November 22nd, until the afternoon. Throughout the two days, attendees will also be able to sign up for office hours with Eric.

You can find the program here.

The automation of work processes and breathtaking advances in artificial intelligence affect workers of all skill levels. Digital technologies have created jobs that did not exist 15 years ago. Charles (Yale), David J. Deming (Harvard), and Ioana Marinescu (University of Pennsylvania) are world-leading experts who will share their views on the future of work. The panel will be chaired by Chris Giles, economics editor of the Financial Times.

The event will take place on 19 October at 17:00 at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, School of Business and Economics, Spandauer Str.1, Room 201.
