The University of Zurich is recruiting for a newly funded SNSF project titled “Parents, Pressure, and Pathways: Experimental Insights on Swiss Educational Transitions.”
Depending on candidate fit, the project will hire either two PhD students or one PhD student and one predoctoral research assistant.
Project focus:
The project is situated in applied microeconomics and the economics of education, with a focus on:
- educational transitions
- student well-being and mental health
- parental decision-making
- inequality in children’s opportunities in Switzerland
Dates:
- Preferred start date: 1 August 2026 (flexible)
- Application review begins: 13 April 2026
