BeNA Skills Camp on Causal Machine Learning with Philipp Bach

The Berlin Network of Labor Market Research (BeNA) is pleased to announce an upcoming Skills Camp on Causal Machine Learning taking place on September 10–11, 2025, at FU Berlin. The Skills Camp is taught by Philipp Bach (University of Hamburg), who develops and implements methods for causal machine learning and enjoys sharing his expertise through teaching.

This two-day training introduces participants to the fundamentals and recent developments in causal machine learning, with a particular focus on double machine learning and sensitivity analysis. The format combines lectures with hands-on coding sessions, placing emphasis on how these tools can be applied to participants’ own projects. Find more information in the syllabus.
