The Institute for Employment Research (IAB) is inviting applications for a postdoctoral researcher in labour economics. The successful candidate will join the Research Department Establishments and Employment and contribute to a third-party funded project on gig work in Germany. The project investigates the growth of the German gig economy, evaluates its benefits and challenges from a worker’s perspective, and explores its broader labour market implications.
The main task of the postdoc is to contribute to the academic research projects. In addition, it is expected to take over some of the project management responsibilities (some German proficiency required).
