RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Essen and Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf jointly organize the second “Studi-BUCH Interdisciplinary Text-As-Data Workshop” on May 16 & 17, 2024. The workshop is aimed at researchers from any field who are already investigating or would like to investigate a topic in education and labor market research using text data. The two-day event consists of a workshop with regular presentations complemented by focus sessions in which new research ideas and datasets are presented. Computer scientists and other experts will be present to give feedback, exchange ideas, and provide opportunities to collaborate.
Keynote presentations will be provided by Alessandra Casarico (Bocconi University & SI Lab, Dondena Research Center) and Simon Wiederhold (University of Halle-Wittenberg & Halle Institute for Economic Research).
The Call for Papers is attached. Extended abstracts/papers/data reports can be submitted to Friederike.hertweck@rwi-essen.de.
Deadline for submissions is March 11, 2024. Submissions from PhD students are highly encouraged!
