DIW Berlin regularly forecasts the economic development of Germany and its most important international markets. The institute is a member of the Joint Economic Forecast and participates in the spring and fall projections on behalf of the German government. The team in the Economic Policy and Forecasting Department is responsible for preparing these forecasts and conducts research on current economic policy issues.
