At each workshop of the Berlin Network of Labor Market Research (BeNA), an outstanding scientific contribution is awarded with the BeNA Innovative Research Award in the amount of 200 Euros.
Presentations at the workshop will be considered for the award if
- The presentation was given by a member of the BeNA network for whom no travel expenses were paid.
- The presenter is a student, doctoral student, or post-doc no more than one year after obtaining a Ph.D.
At the end of the workshop, an independent committee consisting of two invited speakers will nominate nominate the best presentation given at the workshop. Nominations will be judged according to the quality of academic work, originality of idea, and quality of the presentation. Consideration will also be given as to whether research projects are developed individually or together with co‐authors or academic supervisors.
The award will be presented to the winner at the dinner following the BeNA workshop.
