This year’s BeNA Summer Workshop took place on May 19, 2017 in the facilities of the Leibniz Gemeinschaft with the kind support of RWI Berlin. The all-day workshop was a great success with about 30 active participants and network members, two very interesting keynotes by Hanna Frings (RWI Essen) and Martin Nybom (Swedish Institute for Social Research, SOFI), five contributed presentations and an interesting poster session. The workshop was accompanied by lively discussions during the coffee breaks and a nice informal dinner after the workshop. The keynote speakers were asked to award the BeNA Innovative Research Award to the best contributed project to the workshop. The prize was awarded to Mathias Huebener (DIW Berlin).
We would like to express our thanks to all participants, the workshop organizers, as well as the RWI Berlin Office for the local organization.
