The Summer School for Labor Market Research, organized by the DFG Priority Program 1764 “The German Labor Market in a Globalized World: Challenges through Trade, Technology, and Demographics”, aims to bring together PhD students, junior researchers and renowned international researchers to examine and discuss the latest research topics and methods in labor market research. There will be lectures delivered by four distinguished researchers from the fields of economics and sociology. In addition, lectures will be provided on research issues and empirical methods in labor market research. Doctoral students and jun-
ior researchers will have the opportunity to present their work and discuss ideas with renowned international researchers. Furthermore, active participants will be given individual feedback sessions with one of the lecturers.
Lecturers include: Carsten Sauer (Bielefeld), Uta Schönberg (UCL), Jeffrey Smith (Wisconsin-Madison), Jan Spiess (Harvard).
