The second BeNA Guru Talk was held on May 3, 2017 at DIW Berlin. This time the topic was Research Stays abroad.
Doctoral students and junior researchers shared their experiences about their research stays abroad. What are the benefits of a research stay abroad? How do you organize it and where should you go? How to make the best of your time abroad? The format of the Guru Talk was a panel discussion. The BeNA members and experienced travellers Ronny Freier (Princeton, US), Mathias Huebener (Warwick, UK), Guido Neidhöfer (Universidad Nacional de la Plata, Argentina) and Clara Welteke (UC San Diego, US & VU Amsterdam) answered all questions around research stays abroad, moderated by Jan Berkes.
The vivid panel discussion was followed by an informal get-together.
